Attention history buffs! This one-room schoolhouse, built in 1885, was the center of learning for generations of children for almost 70 years. It later served as the Brighton Township Hall before becoming the headquarters for the Brighton Area Historical Society. It has since been completely renovated to highlight its original character and is perfect for school field trips, tour groups, and day trips. The schoolhouse also serves as an archive for historical artifacts from the area. Stop by to learn more. Hours: Open House every Thurs, 9am-noon and third Sun of each month, 1pm-4pm.
