 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. - Tour of the Heavenly Scent Herb Farm


Owner Steve Matthews conducts a guided tour of the extensive themed gardens and elaborate landscapes including waterfalls and ginormous plantings. Steve shares the story of Heavenly Scent with half the group while the rest preview the garden themed home décor shop located in the historic Barn. The group will then swap. ($5.00 p/p inclusive, tour includes ice herbed tea and snack)


  11:00 - 12:00 p.m. - Lunch     |  menu  |


Guests have a choice of dining inside or outdoors adjacent to the fragrant garden blooms on the covered patio. Tour patrons will be treated to a special buffet lunch prepared with herbs grown on the farm. Each guest will receive the popular recipes from the sumptuous lunch. ($18.00 p/p inclusive)


  12:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Crafting a Momento


Now it's time to create a special garden themed memento of your visit to Heavenly Scent. Guests will have an easy time crafting a Rosebud Heart. All the materials are included and ideas on where to display this charming home décor item will also be shared. ($12.00 p/p inclusive, Alternate workshop options are available and Heavenly Scent will customize a workshop that will work for your group's skill level, budget, and interests.)


  1:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Time for Photos


One last chance to take photos with the fantastic gardens as a back drop for the whole group or just a few friends. Visitors love to take photos of the colorful arrangements and shop in the green house and home décor shop. The only complaint of groups that visit here is, there never seems to be enough time to shop and take photos.


  2:15 - 3:15 p.m. - Spicer Orchards


In keeping with the home grown theme, the next stop is Spicer Orchards, not far from Heavenly Scent Herb Farm. Here you can sample Spicer's fruits of labor by tasting Hard Cider and Wine at the Carriage House Tasting Room and patio. The market here is the perfect place to get some farm fresh produce or buy a snack from the deli. (One free tasting or 4 different tastings for $5.00 p/p inclusive)


  3:45 - 4:45 p.m. - Brewery Becker


Brewery Becker in Brighton, is also dependent on gardens, of hops that is. Stop by and toast the local brew-master with a sample of his micro-brews. Meet the brewer at this fabulous historic landmark building which has been restored and repurposed. In fair weather, groups can enjoy the outdoor beer garden. ($5.00 p/p includes meeting the brewer and tour of the brewing facility with 3 sample tastings. Great Harvest Bread Co. will deliver their famous pizza bread to groups having a tasting for $2.00 p/p inclusive.)
